The Duke of Sussex is in Britain for a five-day trip for his one-year countdown to the Invictus Games in Birmingham. On July 8, he stepped out for an engagement and almost ran into Queen Camilla. Interestingly, the day before, he was 12 miles away from Prince William, who was busy with his own commitments.

Prince Harry reportedly almost encountered Queen Camilla during his ongoing UK trip. Notably, on July 8, Harry attended a couple of private meetings related to the Invictus Games Foundation at the Royal Hospital Chelsea.
As per PEOPLE, the Duke of Sussex managed to avoid the media and photographers. He entered the hospital grounds through an alternate route just before 12:30 p.m. local time. Interestingly, Harry’s stepmother, Queen Camilla, was seen being driven past the hospital 40 minutes before Harry’s arrival. The 78-year-old was attending the Wimbledon tennis championships.
Not only that, Harry almost ran into his brother the day before his almost encounter with Queen Camilla. On Tuesday, July 7, Prince William and Harry handled work commitments within 12 miles of each other in London. The Prince of Wales was visiting The London Welsh School. Meanwhile, his younger brother was reportedly visiting Chatham House on behalf of the Invictus Games Foundation (via InStyle).
Previously, Meghan Markle and the couple’s children, Archie and Lilibet, were supposed to join Harry on this trip. However, on July 4, it was officially announced that Markle and the kids would not join the Duke of Sussex due to security concerns.
The Duke of Sussex had earlier gushed over the Invictus Games initiative to the outlet, stating: “There is nowhere you can feel more embraced and supported than with the Invictus family. The Toronto Games were our first time out and about publicly in an official way. We were dating at the time, so it was a lot to take in, but fortunately, we were with the perfect community for that.”
“I had always wanted to share these incredible moments with someone special, and to have Meg by my side means everything,” he added.
