If you’re looking for a respite from the blazing summer heat, perhaps try cooling down with a Christmas movie. Hallmark Channel’s Christmas in July programming event is in full swing with some of their most popular holiday movies all month long including new Christmas movie premieres on Saturday. Cool off with this week’s original movie, O Little Christmas Market, finds an artist trying to save her hometown’s Christmas market that he father helped found.

What is O Little Christmas Marketabout?
Olivia (Katherine Barrell) is a gifted miniature artist who has devoted her heart to the town’s Christmas market, a tradition started by her late father. When a corporate developer plans to tear it down, she risks losing the legacy she holds dear. A chance meeting at a train station with Grayson (Stephen Huszar), a talented yet unfulfilled architect, sparks an unexpected connection. Their bond is tested when Olivia learns his firm is behind the buyout. As Christmas draws near Olivia rallies the community to save the market after securing a delay to the final decision. Amid the holiday magic, Grayson and Olivia’s romance blossoms despite being on seemingly opposite sides of the deal. Together, they must find a way to merge their dreams and save the market, discovering that in order to endure love – like art – requires taking a leap of faith.

Katherine Barrell is best known for her role as Sheriff Haught and one-half of the couple #WayHaught on Wynonna Earp. She also starred for several seasons as Joy Harper on Good Witch. Most recently, she guest starred in Season 2 of Mistletoe Murders.
