A “Northern Attitude” is brewing in Flushing.
Folk icon Noah Kahan has two ‘Great Divide Tour’ concerts with special guest Gigi Perez booked at Citi Field. They’re slated to take place on:
Saturday, July 18
6:30 p.m.
Sunday, July 19
6:30 p.m.
If you’d like to be there, last-minute tickets are available.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on seats for either gig was $420 including fees.
Make sure to use promo code NYPOST10 for $10 off purchases over $250 at checkout (Editor’s Note: this discount is only valid for users’ first purchase).
While expensive, prices have dropped approximately $80 since we last reported on how much seats cost to see Kahan in Queens back on June 30.
Plus, the juice is worth the squeeze for Busyheads.
Based on our findings at Set List FM, the 29-year-old Vermont native goes all out at live shows performing approximately 24 songs per show, mostly from “Stick Season” and “The Great Divide.”
Notable cuts to often make the stage include fan favorites “Dial Drunk,” “The Great Divide,” “Everywhere, Everything,” “American Cars” and, of course, the seminal “Stick Season.”
Per usual, he’s wowed critics.
“Kahan onstage is a powerhouse, swaggering and stomping his way from stage to stage, connecting with his bandmates through movement and with the audience through eye contact,” Boston.com noted in a rave review of a recent concert at Fenway Park.
“Differences between this tour and the last are easy to spot. The sets are more theatrical now, the screens bigger and sharper. During the performance of ‘Dial Drunk,’ a song about making a phone call from jail, Kahan gets arrested and thrown into the back of a police car. On Tuesday he played ‘Willing and Able,’ whose lyrics plead to a family member to sit down and hash things out, sitting perched on a rooftop.”

Noah Kahan new music
On April 24, Noah Kahan released his fourth album “The Great Divide.”
It’s a wallop.
Once again, the emotive warbler has (seemingly) effortlessly painted evocative pictures over propulsive soundscapes that take you to a mossy Northeast forest if you close your eyes tight enough.
Highlights on the record include the the understated, twinkly album opener “End of August” (which takes its sweet time to build to an anthemic release), pulsing, yelp-y rocker “Doors,” twangy jam “American Cars,” Moldy Peaches-esque “Paid Time Off” (that wouldn’t sound out of place on the “Juno” soundtrack) and foot-stomping singalong “Deny Deny Deny.”
Still, our undisputed favorite has to be the title track.
The jangly tune — which Kahan performed at MSG back in 2024 — starts small as he strums and rolls out clear-eyed lyrics like “I can’t recall the last time that we talked/About anything but looking out for cops“ before settling into a groove and delivering the bone-rattling chorus:
I hope you settlе down, I hope you marry rich
I hope you’re scarеd of only ordinary s—
Like murderers and ghosts and cancer on your skin
And not your soul and what He might do with it
This is spine-tingling folk-rock at its absolute best.

PS: Don’t clock out early. Otherwise you’ll miss the campfire beauty “All Them Horses” and stirring bluegrass epic “Dan.”
Who is opening for Noah Kahan?
At all shows, Kahan will be joined by the 26-year-old Hackensack native Gigi Perez.
Primarily known for mega singles “Sailor Song,” “Fable” and “Sometimes (Backwood),” we recommend digging deeper into her back catalog and check out her excellent 2023 EP “How To Catch A Falling Knife” and 2025 debut album “At the Beach, in Every Life” to get a closer look at the gifted singer-songwriter’s range.
Both the EP and album — along with singles she’s released over the years — can be found here.
