Coco Jones may have left her dedicated fans (affectionately called #CoCaptains) concerned after dropping a video discussing uncertainty about the future of her music career, but – as new song ‘Body So Tea’ evidences – one thing the burgeoning R&B diva has no lack of is self-confidence.
Her first solo single release since the March-released ‘Luvagirl,’ the July 10-unveiled ‘Body’ shines as a mid-tempo groove shining with self-affirmative lyrics of loving oneself.
“Body so tea, hair, nails done, skin glowin’ / Body so tea, body’s, body so tea / I don’t even try / I look good and that’s for me, myself and I / I know you think that you’re the reason why / But I dedicate my life to me,” she sings over Stargate production.
At writing, it’s not clear if ‘Body’ and ‘Luvagirl’ will be loaded onto the tracklist of Jones’ highly anticipated sophomore album – the follow-up to 2025’s ‘Why Not More?‘
