Kate Hudson had a lot to celebrate on Thursday, July 9, as her son Bingham turned 15. The Running Point actress took to Instagram to gush over her “beautiful birthday boy” in a sweet tribute alongside a carousel of photos.
“You brought your own rhythm to the world,” Hudson, 47, wrote. “Sensitive, endlessly creative, and always you. What a joy it is to watch you grow into the person you’re becoming. Happy birthday, my sweet Bing. I love you more than you’ll ever know.”
The post came on the heels of Hudson’s stunning Greek summer getaway where she was joined by Bingham and other members of her family including her mom, Goldie Hawn, and longtime partner Danny Fujikawa.
Hudson, who rose to fame when she starred as Penny Lane in the iconic musical film Almost Famous, shared a glimpse into their trip in multiple Instagram posts, calling Greece her “happy place.”
The How To Lose a Guy in 10Days actress documented everything from sweet memories on a boat ride with her kids to a peaceful moment sitting on the beach with Fujikawa.
Hudson is no stranger to sharing her life as a mom of three on social media and while her kids have certainly inherited her poise and creativity, she is hoping they find more to life than just chasing fame.
“Well, my thing is, if my kids drive or purpose is for fame and success, then it’s something that would feel like a failure of mine,” she told Fox News Digital earlier this year. “If that is how they equate feeling significant, then, you know, they’re being fed a lie.”
Hudson added: “So, for me, the most important thing for me with my kids is that they feel self-possessed, that they understand what really drives purpose, and what does a purposeful life look like for them, and where do they hold their values, right? What are those values and why? And if you value fame and success, we’d probably have a big sit-down.”
