The King and Queen have been reunited with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, his grandchildren, at Highgrove for the first time in four years.
Buckingham Palace sources confirmed that Their Majesties hosted the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their children on Friday afternoon.
It marks the first time that the King has seen Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, since June 2022, during Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
The meeting came after Meghan and the children flew privately into Britain from Europe, where they have been on holiday.
It emerged on Thursday evening that they planned to visit, but that the Duchess would not make any public appearances. She later pulled out of plans to attend an Invictus Games event at the Birmingham NEC.
