King Charles has seen his youngest grandchildren for the first
time in four years as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex brought their
family to Highgrove House.
Harry and Meghan, along with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet,
spent time with The King and Queen at Highgrove.
The King last saw Archie, now 7, and Lilibet, who’s just turned
5, in 2022 when the Sussex family visited the UK for the Platinum
Jubilee.
The reunion came in a private meeting which took place this
afternoon.
Prince Harry arrived in the UK several days ago and has been
carrying out visits linked to the one year countdown to the
Invictus Games which are due to take place in Birmingham in
2027.
Meghan won’t be joining him at any of the public events for the
countdown.
The Duchess and the couple’s two children arrived in the UK a
few days after Prince Harry lost a court case against the Daily
Mail. He was part of a group suing the paper over allegations it
had used underhand methods to gain information about them. All
charges were thrown out. The Duke of Sussex later called the ruling
a ‘whitewash’.
News of the meeting between King Charles, Queen Camilla and the
Duke and Duchess of Sussex came after Harry attended a countdown
event for the Invictus Games.
It’s understood the meeting was private and no photographs or
further details are expected to be shared.
