Prince Harry humorously introduced himself with his full royal name on a recent podcast appearance
The royal used all of his middle names while on “Joe Marler Will See You Now,” hosted by the retired English rugby player
The podcast episode is part of Harry’s visit to the U.K., which includes charity events and the 2027 Invictus Games countdown
Prince Harry is going by his rarely-used full name in a new interview — and poking some lighthearted fun at the podcast hosts in the process.
In a teaser for an upcoming episode of the British comedy podcast “Joe Marler Will See You Now,” the royal, 41, was asked to introduce himself by host Marler, a retired English rugby player.
The prince obliged, using his full name: “Henry Charles Albert David, Duke of Sussex.”
Podcast co-host Jake Bhardwaj then quipped, “It’s a long one,” and Harry quickly fired back, “Alright, ‘Jake,’ ” to lots of laughs from the hosts and crew members.
Marler then announced that Harry’s full podcast episode would be released on Monday, July 13, at 5 p.m. U.K. time.
The prince rarely uses his lengthy full name and title during public appearances and has previously used less conspicuous names to remain under the radar.
In December 2025, he skipped his princely title while competing in the St. Regis World Snow Polo Championship in Aspen, Colo., Page Six reported.
“Harry was introduced as Harry Wales, with no royal title mentioned ever or anywhere,” a source told the outlet.
“He was there to play polo with his best friend Nacho [Figueras],” they added. “No titles, just fun.”

Harry’s upcoming appearance on “Joe Marler Will See You Now” is just one of his public appearances and interviews amid his highly-discussed visit to the U.K., which includes stops in London and Birmingham.
Harry arrived in the U.K. on July 6 for a series of charity events, including the one-year countdown event to the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham.

Although Harry and Meghan Markle, 44, initially shared their plans to bring their two children back to the U.K. for the first time since 2022 this month, the trip was put in jeopardy over security concerns.
It was announced over the weekend that Duchess of Sussex and their children — Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5 — would not join Harry for the London leg of his trip. Then, on Thursday, July 9, reports emerged stating that Meghan and the kids will travel to Britain, but will not make any public appearances.
The family was last in the U.K. together four years ago to celebrate the late Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee, marking her 70th year on the throne.
Buckingham Palace confirmed on Friday, July 10, that King Charles and Queen Camilla hosted Harry, Meghan and their children that afternoon. The reunion took place at Highgrove House, the monarch’s private country residence in Gloucestershire, England.
Harry and the King each stepped out separately earlier in the day on Friday. The prince tried out some of the sports that will be featured at the 2027 Invictus Games while the monarch visited Oxfordshire, about 50 miles from Highgrove House.
Meanwhile, Prince William was playing in a charity polo match in Windsor on Friday, supported by his wife, Kate Middleton. There are no known plans for the estranged brothers to reunite during Harry’s visit to the U.K.
