Ole Miss pitcher and graduate of Greenville High School Taylor Rabe, was selected 30th by the Kansas City Royals in the first round of the MLB Draft on July 11.
Rabe was a standout at Greenville High and was the 2023 South Carolina Gatorade Player of the Year and the 2023 South Carolina Baseball Coaches Association (SCBCA) Player of the Year.
In his sophomore year at Ole Miss, he had a 5-3 record with a 3.55 ERA, striking out 105 batters.
