The Gilmore Girls alum married his wife, Jarah Mariano, in 2023. After Jarah announced she was expecting the couple’s second child—they welcomed daughter Ke’ala in January 2025—fans have been eagerly awaiting the family’s next chapter.
On July 6, Jarah announced on Instagram that she and Milo had welcomed their son, Rock-Anthony Makoa Ventimiglia. Alongside photos of the newborn with Milo, Ke’ala, and the family’s dog, Jarah shared a heartfelt message reflecting on this new chapter for their growing family.
“These last couple of weeks have been chaos, but in the best possible way,” she wrote in the caption. “Welcome back home Rock-Anthony Makoa Ventimiglia. Can’t wait for all of the adventures ahead with our family of 5!”
As soon as fans saw Jarah’s rare life update, they all rallied around to celebrate the occasion.

Milo previously opened up to Good Housekeeping about how fatherhood has changed him in ways he didn’t expect.
“In the past, you’re a little more selfish in a positive way,” he exclusively told us in December 2025. “But when you have a kid, when you are a parent, all of a sudden, anything that you want just goes completely second. What are the things that I can give to my child now? Or, what can I give to my family that will give that support? You kind of don’t know it until you’re just there. And then when they start smiling at you—oh, man, forget it. You’re like, ‘Cool. You can have whatever you want.'”
