King Charles has been reunited with his grandchildren following a Friday afternoon gathering with his son, and now the Royal Family can celebrate another new addition as a royal birth has been confirmed.
Charles hosted Prince Harry, Meghan and their children at his Highgrove estate, the family home of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla, during the afternoon following days of speculation about whether the family encounter would occur.
Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, last met their grandfather face-to-face during Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee festivities in 2022. It is believed the Queen, who maintains a private residence close to the King’s Gloucestershire estate, was also present at the gathering.
The announcement has now been made that a new member of the Royal Family has arrived, with baby Isabel Marina Vesterberg born on July 8.
The newborn is the daughter of Flora Vesterberg (née Ogilvy), who is the granddaughter of Princess Alexandra, 89, The Honourable Lady Ogilvy, the sole surviving granddaughter of King George V.

Sharing a photograph of Isabel on Instagram, proud mother Flora Vesterberg posted, “Our daughter Isabel Marina Vesterberg arrived safely on the morning of 8 July.
She continued, “Timothy and I are overjoyed and full of love for her. She’s named for the blessing that she is as well as my paternal great-grandmother.”
Explaining why they landed on the same Isabel, she said, “Her name also means ‘of the sea’ where we always feel most at peace in Scotland and Sweden. Thank you for your thoughtful messages xx.”
Flora Vesterberg, 31, wed Swedish financier Timothy Vesterberg at St James’s Palace in 2020.
Twelve months later, the couple held a marriage blessing ceremony with guests including Prince Edward, Duchess Sophie and Lady Gabriella Windsor.
As the granddaughter of the late Queen’s cousin, Princess Alexandra, Flora is a third cousin of King Charles and a distant cousin of Prince William and Prince Harry.
