All 13 members have committed to the label, with those in the military set to make it official when the timing permits.
All 13 members of boy band Seventeen agreed to renew their contract with Pledis Entertainment for the second time.
“Seventeen and the agency have come together to renew the exclusive contract for the second time,” the label said in a press release Monday.
“Everyone apart from those serving in the military has signed their contract, and the members who are currently completing their military service will consequently sign their contracts depending on their service conditions.”
Members Hoshi and Woozi are currently fulfilling their military obligations in the Korean Army.
“We are glad to share some welcoming news with Carat,” Seventeen members said in a press release, referring to the band’s fandom name.
“We came together with the belief that there’s nothing we can’t accomplish as long as we’re together as a team — all 13 of us have agreed to stay together.”
Pledis Entertainment pledged to continue its support in Seventeen’s group, unit and solo activities.
“We will be serving as a trustworthy partner and supporter so that each member can further showcase their individuality and abilities, and so that the group’s healthy energy can spread even more widely around the world.
Seventeen debuted as a 13-member act in 2015. The bandmates renewed their contracts with Pledis Entertainment in 2021.
Seventeen’s The8 and Vernon debuted as a duo V8 on June 29 and kicked off their duo tour, while Dino will drop his solo album on Aug. 3.
