Prince Harry has shared a personal insight into his approach to fatherhood, revealing he follows the example set by his late mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, when comforting his own children.
The Duke of Sussex said Diana would hug him and his brother, Prince William, “as tight as possible”, a gesture he now repeats with his son and daughter when they have experienced a difficult day.
Harry shared the reflection during an appearance on the Joe Marler Will See You Now podcast, which was recorded last Thursday and released on Monday.
The interview was published shortly before Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, visited their grandfather, King Charles, the following day, marking their first meeting in four years.
