Tori Darke Shares ‘Prettiest Wreck’ Music Video, Announces New Tour Dates

Tori Darke is on the road from this month until October, hitting festival stages in Australia, the US, and the UK.

It’s an exciting time for Australian singer Tori Darke, who’s gearing up to take her brand of pop-country music across the globe starting this weekend.

As she prepares to fly to America for Country Jam USA, the annual three-day country music festival in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Darke has unveiled the music video for her latest single, Prettiest Wreck, which she wrote with The Wolfe Brothers in Nashville.

Collaborating with director and photographer Michelle Pitiris for the clip, Darke recently explained that it was filmed in regional Victoria – shot in freezing cold conditions, and she had to muster up the strength to deliver the high-energy concept required for the video.

She added, “Michelle had this vision of a jilted bride, and I just thought, what better song than this one? I was sitting in a paddock singing my lungs out. It was so much fun, and I cannot wait for everyone to see it.”

Upon the official release of Prettiest Wreck last month, Darke told Countrytown, “This song I wrote as a girls’ anthem, a song truly for the girls. If you’ve ever had a broken heart and needed a song to scream at the top of your lungs, Prettiest Wreck is that song.”

Following her performance at Country Jam USA, Darke is heading to the UK in August for already-announced shows, including at the Randy Houser-headlined Country Calling.

Then, she’s set to come home to Australia for performances at the Gympie Music Muster, BIGSOUND, New South Wales’ Trundle Bush Tucker Day, and the Deni Ute Muster in October. Those were already-announced dates.

Today, Darke has revealed that she’ll also perform at Aussie festivals Under the Gums, The Bend Classic, and Savannah In The Round. Head to Darke’s website for more touring information.
