Rock veterans Nickelback are officially back with their upcoming studio album Everything Under the Sun and the record’s lead single, “Rattle the Cage.”
The new project marks the band’s return following their 2022 album Get Rollin’.

Frontman Chad Kroeger said in a statement, “This album has every side of the band on it. There are songs that hit as hard as anything we’ve ever done, songs that take chances, and songs that remind us why we’ve been doing this together for so long. ‘Rattle The Cage’ felt like the perfect way to kick the door open — it has the energy we’ve been feeding off every night on stage, and we can’t wait for people to hear it.”

Across the album, towering arena-ready anthems collide with reflective songwriting, undeniable melodies, massive guitars, and the unmistakable chemistry that has defined the band for more than three decades.”
“Rattle the Cage” as First Single
Alongside the album announcement, Nickelback released “Rattle the Cage,” with an accompanying music video. The song features a guest appearance from guitarist John 5, known for his work with artists including Mötley Crüe and Rob Zombie.
As of this writing, the video has already amassed 170+k views, with fans flooding the comment section with positive feedback and eagerly awaiting the album.
