Summer is well underway in the UK, and many of us are already busy making plans. Holidays, drinks with friends, lunches in the sun, and even trips to the beach. Idyllic right?

He is no longer living the life of a prince that he enjoyed for years – with no royal duty but all the perks. Royal treats for Andrew have vanished.
In his five-bedroom Norfolk farmhouse, he is now living the life of a recluse ex-Prince, who rarely leaves the house and certainly doesn’t have plenty of royal land to host plenty of friends and go horse-riding.
Whether he even has many friends to invite round anymore is another question altogether. As for family? Better not to go there. We’ve seen no signs of Beatrice or Eugenie visiting their disgraced father over the last few months.

It was not the most exciting state of affairs. But for Andrew, and his now very limited social circle and his need to keep a low profile, it could be the most thrilling his summer gets.
As for whether he will be at Balmoral for the annual Royal Family summer get together? I think there is more chance of me and you being hosted at the castle. Unlucky Andrew.
