Armando Rubio, who’s appeared on TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé franchise, updated followers Thursday on his daughter’s medical emergency.
Earlier this week, he told followers that Hannah, 13, is being treated for a brain bleed in a hospital in Arizona, although the cause was unclear.
Rubio stayed at the family’s home in Mexico because he said he was unable to gain entry to the U.S.
Armando Rubio, of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, cried Thursday, as he updated fans on his daughter’s health.
“I miss my baby girl,” Rubio said of 13-year-old Hannah. “I don’t want to lose her. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers, guys. And thank you all that have supported her on the GoFundMe and everything, all the love that’s coming our way.”
Rubio, who first appeared on TLC‘s 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way in 2020, told followers earlier this week that his daughter was in a hospital’s intensive care unit after suffering a brain bleed. A doctor in Mexico had directed the family, which also includes Rubio’s husband, Kenneth “Kenny” Niedermeier, to seek help in Arizona, where there is specialized testing and treatment.
In the new video, Rubio said doctors still don’t know exactly what’s happening.
As he cried intensely, he thanked supporters for their donations to his family’s campaign to raise money to pay for Hannah’s medical care.
“You guys all have been angels through this and made it a little easier even though I can’t be with her.”
Rubio has said that he was unable to obtain a humanitarian visa to be by his daughter’s side.
The reality star recalled in another post that he learned something was wrong when Hannah called him at work to say she wasn’t feeling well.
“I noticed her face was droopy, half of her face, and her lips and stuff, and half her body had no strength,” he recalled.

The GoFundMe page explains that the teen has also “lost strength and movement on that side of her body.”
“This ordeal has been incredibly stressful and overwhelming for Kenny, Armando, and Hannah, as they navigate the uncertainty of her recovery and the challenges of coordinating care between two countries,” a statement from the organizer, a friend named Toni, read.

“Toni is organizing this fundraiser to help ease that burden, so Kenny, Armando, and Hannah can concentrate on what matters most: Hannah’s recovery,” the message continued.
As of late Thursday, more than $126,500 had been raised.
