The Anoka County Fair is bringing six full days of family friendly entertainment to the fairgrounds July 21 through 26, with shows, demonstrations, live music, animals, contests, grandstand events, and interactive fun happening throughout the grounds every day of the fair.
Guests can enjoy returning fair favorites including Swifty Swine Racing Pigs, and Southwest Dairy Milking Demonstrations, both with multiple shows daily, along with a new attraction this year, Agri Bot: The Agricultural Transforming Robot Show in Old Town. Grounds entertainment will happen multiple times throughout each day, giving fairgoers plenty to see and do as they explore the fairgrounds.
There is something for everyone throughout the week, with all grandstand shows and grounds acts included with gate admission. This year’s grandstand lineup includes the Monster Truck Nitro Tour, Great Frontier Bull Riding, NTPA Tractor Pulls, Colt Ford with Hayden Coffman, and the Annual Demolition Derby.
“This year’s schedule is packed with the kind of entertainment families love at the fair,” said Michael Ahlers, Fair President of the Anoka County Fair. “My grandkids especially love the Dollipops, Pig Races, and Silent Barnyard Disco, but there truly is something for everyone in every direction you look.”
Fairgoers can also enjoy free parking throughout fair week, making it easy for families to spend the day enjoying entertainment, agriculture, food, carnival, exhibits, and activities across the grounds. Guests are also encouraged to bike to the fair, with free gate admission offered to anyone who bikes to the fair on Tuesday, July 21 and Wednesday, July 22.
