A popular festival is returning to the Triangle — and now, we know who will be performing.
Hopscotch Music Festival, known for together bringing artists from multiple genres, is coming to downtown Raleigh in September. Headliners include Dexter and the Moonrocks, Cory Wong and King Princess, organizers announced Friday, July 17.
“Get ready for another jam-packed weekend of listening to your favorite bands and discovering new ones, catching tons of unforgettable sets, and exploring all that Raleigh has to offer,” Hopscotch wrote in a past Facebook post.
Here’s what we know about this year’s event, including the festival dates, full concert lineup and how to get tickets.
When and where is Hopscotch?
Hopscotch Music Festival is planned for Thursday, Sept. 10 to Saturday, Sept. 12. It’s set to take place in downtown Raleigh, with headliners performing at City Plaza on Fayetteville Street.
The festival also has “club shows” planned for Kings, Lincoln Theatre, Nash Hall, Neptunes, The Pour House and Nash Hall
“New this year, Moore Square Commons is a free, open-to-the-public space that invites everyone to experience Hopscotch with no festival pass required. Moore Square Commons will feature live music, local vendors, food and drinks, and community programming throughout the weekend,” Hopscotch wrote in a news release, adding that artists for that part of the festival will be announced in the future.
There are several parking garages and surface lots in the area.
