Ciara, Alysa Liu and More on the Time100 Sports Gala Red Carpet

Unique interpretations on power dressing hit the red carpet at Thursday night’s Time100 Sports Gala at Pier Sixty in New York City. Ciara and Lindsey Vonn led the charge in looks by Giuseppe Di Morabito and Monse that captured the strength and energy of the athletes and special guests.

Ciara

Ciara went for a suited vibe with her Giuseppe Di Morabito look. The singer wore a long-sleeve ivory suit jacket with a double-breasted silhouette and shimmering embellishments on the sharp lapels. Delicate lace details were added to the hemline and long sleeves. Ciara accessorized her look with a Cartier bracelet and a pair of Christian Louboutin pointed-toe pumps.

Alysa Liu

Alysa Liu brought a Gothic style sensibility to her Nicholas Oakwell red carpet look with nods to the dark glamour trend. The dress, inspired by the first Chinese American film star Anna May Wong, featured a high neckline and cap sleeves with a formfitting silhouette and mermaid-style skirt. Sheer black fabric was the dominant material used to create the dress, with floral elements throughout. The skirt included layering and ruffled details.

Chloe Kim

Chloe Kim opted for an ethereal take on power dressing with her flowing white dress. The decorated Olympian wore a strapless white dress with a cutout beneath the bust, wrapped fabric and a flowing skirt with a train that trailed Kim on the red carpet.

Lindsey Vonn

Lindsey Vonn turned to Monse’s 2027 resort collection. The athlete’s look included floral appliqués at the shoulder and waist, accentuating a cutout on the bodice. A flowing skirt gave the look added movement. Micaela Erlanger, who worked with Lupita Nyong’o throughout her “The Odyssey” press tour, styled Vonn’s attire.

The Time100 Sports Gala, held at Pier Sixty on Thursday night in New York City, brought together the most influential figures in sports from boundary-pushing stars like LeBron James, to coaches, business leaders and more.
