Squid Pisser share new single “Fart F***** F*** Face”

Los Angeles hardcore/noise outfit Squid Pisser have released their new single, “Fart F***** F*** Face.” The track appears on the band’s upcoming full-length EP, Throat Slave, due out August 28 through Skin Graft Records and Sweatband Records.

Fronted by Tommy Meehan (known to GWAR fans as Grodius Maximus), Squid Pisser continue to push their abrasive blend of hardcore, industrial, noise rock, and electronics with the new release.

Speaking about the song, Baxter Yogurt (Meehan) explained: “Our new single is about what can happen when you spend your life pretending to be someone you’re not. Denying yourself doesn’t make those feelings disappear. It can turn them into anger, bitterness, and hatred toward people who have the courage to live honestly. The song is about trusting yourself and refusing to become another miserable hypocrite telling everyone else how to live.”

Throat Slave follows 2024’s Dreams of Puke and features five new songs, six remixes, and an introductory track. According to the band, the EP explores themes of identity, manipulation, paranoia, and self-determination while expanding Squid Pisser’s sound with more groove, atmosphere, and dynamic songwriting.

Baxter Yogurt added: “Throat Slave is a collection of songs about defending your identity from parasites… Whether they’re people, institutions, bad habits, or the voice in your own head telling you to play it safe. Every song is a battle between self-determination and surrender. The answer isn’t self-improvement or enlightenment… It’s trusting yourself enough to reject what’s false. Don’t become somebody else’s ‘Throat Slave.’”
