The slate of home releases for July 21 includes Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu and the new Scary Movie digitally, while The Love That Remains arrives on Blu-ray Disc.
Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu will be available for premium digital sale and rental starting July 21. Picking up from the events of “The Mandalorian” TV series, the film finds bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu hired by a New Republic colonel (Sigourney Weaver) to track down fugitive Imperial warlords. But to find their next target, they must first rescue the Rotta the Hutt (Jeremy Allen White), son of Jabba, from an underground gladiatorial arena run by a criminal mastermind. The film was directed by Jon Favreau, and written by Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni and Noah Kloor. It earned more than $344.82 million at the global box office, including $177.53 million across North American screens. It arrives on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD disc Aug. 25.
An extended cut of the 2026 horror spoof Scary Movie will be available for premium digital rental and sale July 21 from Paramount Home Entertainment. The digital release will also include the theatrical cut. In the sixth film in the “Scary Movie” franchise, 26 years after the original massacre, Cindy, Brenda, Shorty and Ray get dragged back into the chaos by a brand-new masked killer who clearly never learned when to quit. Stars Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Anna Faris and Regina Hall reunite, alongside returning favorites, for a return to the franchise that satirizes horror films. The theatrical cut of the film earned $230.1 million at the global box office. A DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD disc release of the film is slated for Sept. 22.
The psychological thriller The Rebrand will be released via on demand July 21 from Level 33 Entertainment. The story follows Nicole, an eight-months-pregnant videographer who is hired to document the comeback of two canceled lesbian lifestyle influencers. After spending time with Thistle and Blaire in their natural habitat, Nicole quickly discovers that the couple have nefarious ulterior motives. Beneath its horror-comedy premise, the film explores a surprisingly universal fear: the inability to say no. Through Nicole’s increasingly unsettling experience, The Rebrand examines over-accommodation, blurred boundaries, and the dangers of staying in situations long after every instinct says to leave. The film stars Andi E. Criterion Premieres will release the 2025 Icelandic film The Love That Remains on Blu-ray Disc and DVD July 21. Written and directed by Hlynur Pálmason, the family drama infused with deadpan humor follows four seasons in the lives of a separating couple — artist Anna (Saga Garðarsdóttir) and fisherman Magnus (Sverrir Guðnason) — and their three children. Bonus materials include a “Meet the Filmmakers” Criterion Channel interview with Pálmason; Joan of Arc, a 2025 companion film by Pálmason; the film’s trailer; plus notes by film programmer and critic David Schwartz.

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will release the 1958 classic The 7th Voyage of Sinbad on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc July 21. The cinematic adventure follows the legendary Sinbad as he sets off on a dangerous journey to the mysterious Island of Colossus. His quest is to break the spell cast over his beloved princess by a diabolical magician. But before he can save her, Sinbad must battle an awesome collection of mythical monsters, the man-eating Cyclops, a saber-wielding skeleton, a ferocious two-headed bird called the Roc and a fire-breathing dragon. The film stars Kerwin Mathews, Kathryn Grant and Torin Thatcher and features the visual effects of Ray Harryhausen. The combo pack includes the film on both 4K and regular Blu-ray discs with English 5.1 and mono soundtracks. The 4K presentation includes Dolby Vision and has been restored from the original camera negative.
Available July 21 on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray Disc from the Criterion Collection is 1960’s Cruel Story of Youth. The Japanese film, the second feature from director Nagisa Oshima, finds teenage lovers Makoto (Miyuki Kuwano) and Kiyoshi (Yusuke Kawazu) turning to a life of crime, entrapping lecherous middle-aged men in order to extort their money. The film sports a new 4K digital restoration with an uncompressed monaural soundtrack. The 4K edition is a combo pack containing one 4K disc of the film, and the regular Blu-ray Disc edition with the film and bonus materials.
Also due July 21 on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray Disc from Criterion is the boxed set I’ll Remind You of Everything: The Films of Mike Mills, which includes 2010’s Beginners, 2016’s 20th Century Women and 2021’s C’mon C’mon — three stories of parents and children against the backdrop of a changing America. Beginners stars Ewan McGregor as a man whose father (Christopher Plummer) comes out as gay at age 75, which informs his later romance with a woman played by Mélanie Laurent. In 20th Century Women, Annette Bening plays a single mother in 1970s Santa Barbara, Calif., who, unsure of how to connect with her teenage son (Lucas Jade Zumann), turns to two younger women: a politically engaged photographer (Greta Gerwig) and a restless, rebellious high schooler (Elle Fanning). C’mon C’mon follows a radio journalist (Joaquin Phoenix) as he volunteers to look after his sensitive 9-year-old nephew (Woody Norman), while his sister (Gaby Hoffmann) deals with a personal crisis. The films are presented with new 4K digital masters supervised and approved by Mills. Beginners and 20th Century Women are presented with with 5.1 surround DTS-HD master audio soundtracks, while C’mon C’mon features a Dolby Atmos soundtrack. The 4K edition includes the films on both 4K with Dolby Vision HDR and regular Blu-ray Discs with bonus materials.
