Marilyn Manson has released the official music video for his latest single “Front Toward Enemy,” giving fans another glimpse into his upcoming album One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2. The visual was directed by Henri Alexander Levy and arrives as the second single from the forthcoming record.
The new album is scheduled for release on August 14 through Nuclear Blast Records and was co-produced and co-written by Manson alongside Tyler Bates. The record continues the creative direction introduced on One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1, which marked Manson’s return with new material after 2020’s We Are Chaos.
“Front Toward Enemy” Follows “Exit Wound”
“Front Toward Enemy” follows the release of “Exit Wound,” the first single from Chapter 2. The upcoming album features nine tracks, including “Unalive,” “Don’t Answer The Door,” “All The Vilest Things,” “None of the Suns,” “Lucifer’s Teardrop,” “The Arsonist,” and “Enantiomorph.”
The release of One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2 comes shortly before Manson begins a late summer co-headlining tour with Rob Zombie. The 21-city Freaks on Parade Tour will kick off on August 20 and wrap up on September 20. Joining Manson and Zombie are The Hu and Orgy as supporting acts.
Freaks on Parade is Manson and Zombie’s fourth co-headlining tour following the Twins of Evil Tour (2021), Twins of Evil: Hell Never Dies (2019), and Twins of Evil: The Second Coming Tour (2018).
Marilyn Manson Continues His Musical Comeback
In recent years, Manson has focused on rebuilding his musical career with new releases and performances following allegations and lawsuits of sexual assault, most notably the allegations by Westworld actress Evan Rachel Wood. Wood was in a relationship with Manson from 2007 to 2010.
His partnership with Nuclear Blast Records was announced in 2024. His previous label, Loma Vista Recordings and the talent agency CAA dropped him in 2022 after the accusations against him.
