This, of course, came on the latest Adam Schefter podcast, and Schefter went on to say, “The question is whether he’ll be seventy, eighty, or ninety percent,” but everybody’s expecting Mahomes to be ready to roll by the time the regular season rolls around.
And if that is indeed the case, and if indeed Pat is a fraction of a hundred percent of himself, first of all, that’s still one of the best quarterbacks in the league.
But second of all, the big pressure that will come from that will be Pat making good decisions and playing with the proper jurisdiction that comes with understanding this season is a marathon.

I know everybody’s ready to put last year behind you, but Pat’s gotta make good decisions as he works his way back and tries to get his sea legs back underneath of him for a brand-new campaign in twenty twenty-six.
So Mahomes well on track, but once he’s out there, the pressure will shift then to making good decisions and playing smart football.
