Mohegan Sun will mark its 30th anniversary with two October weekends of concerts and special events featuring artists spanning rock, country, pop and hip-hop.

Alanis Morissette opens the celebration at 8 p.m. Oct. 2. The singer-songwriter remains known for albums including “Jagged Little Pill” and songs such as “Ironic,” “You Oughta Know,” “Hand In My Pocket” and “Thank U.” The Broadway adaptation of “Jagged Little Pill” earned 15 Tony Award nominations and won two awards in 2021.
