Some of Ireland’s best-loved celebrities are set to share their personal stories in new documentaries as part of Virgin Media’s new TV schedule.
The Ballymount-based broadcaster is preparing to unveil its full autumn season in the coming weeks, and audiences can get a first look at some of the stories, personalities and conversations set to feature across the schedule.
From the housing crisis and pressures on the education system to women’s health, online abuse and the hidden dangers of life in the digital age, the new season will place real people and lived experiences at the heart of the conversation.

Ireland AM host Eric Roberts is set to host his own show, Crisis in a Classroom, drawing on his former life as a Special Needs Assistant.
Eric explores the growing challenges facing special needs education in Ireland.
Meeting families, principals and SNAs across the country, he examines the impact stretched resources and support services are having on children, schools and families.

Meanwhile, in Health Hysteria: Are Women Being Gaslit?, presenter Katja Mia draws on her own experience to investigate why so many women face years of unanswered questions when it comes to their health.
The documentary explores gaps in women’s healthcare research, the search for answers and the increasingly influential role the internet plays in informing, and at times misleading, women about their health.

Gráinne Seoige is set to share her deeply personal experience after a deepfake pornographic image threatened to derail her political ambitions.
In Deepfake Ireland: The Naked Truth, the documentary shares the harrowing experiences of fellow victims, including a 15-year-old girl.

And Six O’Clock Show host Brian Dowling draws on his own experiences from being trolled online as he presents Toxic Threads.
