Hollywood actor Andrew Scott’s latest role sees him star in a new music video for English singer-songwriter and musician Sam Fender.
Fender recruited the BAFTA-winning actor to star in the dramatic video for his single, People Watching.
Shot in Long Beach, California, the video features Dubliner Andrew, who also holds two Olivier Awards, playing a man struggling to cope with the grief of losing his mother.
The video depicts Andrew emotionally overwhelmed, drinking excessively, and partying through wild nights.
It culminates with him returning to what appears to be his childhood home, mirroring a scene from All of Us Strangers, the acclaimed film he starred in alongside fellow Irish actor Paul Mescal (of Normal People and Gladiators II fame) last year.

The single was initially released in November, as the Geordie singer and guitarist announced his upcoming album of the same name.
Fender shared the music video on social media, saying: “People Watching music video, featuring the incredibly talented Andrew Scott, out now.”
He described the track’s meaning, explaining that it was about someone who was like “a surrogate mother” to him, who passed away last November.
“It’s about what was going through my head, to and from that place and home,” Fender said.
“It’s kind of ironic because she was the one who gave me the confidence to go on stage and would always ask, ‘Why haven’t you mentioned my name in your acceptance speech?’
“But now, an entire song (and album) connects to her. I hope that wherever she is now, she’s looking down and saying, ‘About time, kid’,” he added.
