In the months following the wedding, Queen Rania spoke warmly of William and Catherine, telling Fox News that ‘it is always a pleasure to host the Prince and Princess of Wales in Jordan.’ Queen Rania is also a founding member of Prince William’s treasured Earthshot Prize project, having delivered a powerful speech at the innovation summit of 2022, where she declared: ’If we stick together, we can make fixing the climate the greatest project, and greatest achievement, of our lifetimes,’ she said.
