The Bachelor fans are gushing over Litia Garr during the season premiere.
The dating show’s avid viewers have been anxiously waiting for the first episode ever since a teaser was released during The Golden Bachelorette finale. According to the promo, the new leading man Grant Ellis has to make difficult decisions, like breaking up a love triangle, if he “wants a wife.”
With the season premiere finally here, viewers are paying close attention to the women’s first impressions and one contestant, who has an interesting connection to Grant’s past, has already caught most viewer’s eye.
Litia Garr made quite an entrance as she arrived in a sparkling gold gown. Once she approached Ellis, she gushed over the leading man’s vulnerability during The Bachelorette and his previous basketball career. Although she admitted to not knowing much about basketball, she stood out with an equally glowing welcome gift: a crystal-embellished basketball.
She told Ellis: “You bring the skill, I’ll bring the sparkle.”
While Garr is already a fan favorite, Ellis understands he’s going to need to put in time and hard work to find his match.
“Love is a choice, Love is hard. But ultimately, the hardest things have the biggest reward,” he continued.
During a previous interview with People, the bachelor detailed the type of women he’s looking for. Ellis said he wants some that’s “compassionate” and “has a heart for other people because that’s the way I am.”
He added: “And then hygiene is a big thing for me, too!”
The last person to find his dream girl on The Bachelor was Joey Graziadei, who is currently living with Kelsey Anderson, who he got engaged to during the season 28 finale.
The Bachelor airs every Monday on ABC at 8 pm EST.
