Blake Lively’s brother-in-law has seemingly sent a public apology to Justin Baldoni over his past “unkind” comments as the actor’s lawsuit against Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds wages on.
Baldoni’s $400 million lawsuit against his It Ends With Us costar comes after she also filed suit against him, claiming sexual harassment on the set. With the legal battle set to go to trial in March 2026, everyone around them has been under a microscope.
This has included Lively’s good friend Taylor Swift, who is allegedly stepping back from the relationship amidst the drama, and Baldoni’s mother, who seemingly urged her son to “keep his integrity.”
Now, Lively’s brother-in-law, Bart Johnson, who is married to her sister, Robin Lively, appears to be throwing his thoughts into the mix.
Johnson, who had previously slammed Baldoni on social media amidst his support for Blake, seemed to issue an apology to the actor now.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Johnson seemingly expressed remorse over his former posts calling Baldoni a fraud, which have since been deleted, without evidence.
“Anytime I’ve said anything unkind about someone I’ve regretted it. Fortunately, that’s almost never and definitely not when I’m at my best. Regardless if it’s true or not, if it’s my opinion, even if I’m trying to speak truth or stand up for someone, it’s never good,” he wrote.
“Even in times where it might ‘feel’ justified and doing the right thing, it makes no difference. There’s a better way. It’s below the standard I have for myself and I regret it,” he continued. “I do sincerely apologize to anyone I’ve hurt or let down by saying something that sounds mean I’ll do better.”
