Actor Brad Pitt wants to open up about his divorce from Angelina Jolie now that it is finalized, a source claims.
All matters relating to the Hollywood star’s 8-year divorce were finalized earlier this month apart from a $62 million lawsuit over their French chateau Miraval.
During a recent interview with the BBC where she discussed working with her kids on her new movie Maria, Jolie appeared to make a references to their marital troubles by mentioning she hid “a lot of the pain” from them in the past.
Earlier this month, the actress told W magazine her pet peeve is somebody who is “a liar”, adding: “Somebody who feels a need to not say the truth or what they want, what they feel.”
In another interview with Times Radio earlier this month the actress said she has been left wondering how much her “light [was] dimmed” by challenges she has gone through in life.
But the source claims: “Brad’s held on to a lot of secrets about Angelina – some that could change the kids’ opinion of their mom,” adding that is why he has “held [things] back for many years.”
Legal documents published in May revealed security company owner Tony Webb, who’s worked for both stars, claimed one of his employees overheard Angelina “encouraging [the kids] to avoid spending time with Mr. Pitt during custody visits.”
Pitt has visitation rights with his younger kids, but has little to no contact with his older children, Zahara, Shiloh and Vivienne who have all dropped his surname.
Pitt’s court-mandated visitation rights and contact with his twins Vivienne and Knox is also set to end when they turn 18 next year.
The source says: “Brad fears he’s lost his kids forever because they’ve been fed so many lies.”
They also said he will “not let Angelina take the chateau from him, too” and “he’s going full force on his winery lawsuit,” adding “he has nothing left to lose.”
