“Kill A Prayer” will be released on January 31st
Cole Swindell will release a new song, “Kill A Prayer,” on Friday, January 31st. The track follows on the heels of the release of his poignant “One Day,” and emotionally-charged “3 Feet Tall” both of which he released in late 2024. Swindell’s current radio single, “Forever To Me,” a song he wrote for his bride before their wedding, is Top 15 and continues to steadily climb the country charts. “One Day,” “3 Feet Tall,” “Forever To Me” and “Kill A Prayer” will be included on his upcoming fifth studio album for Warner Music Nashville.
Swindell has become known for writing and recording songs with not only creative lyrics but the most vivid storytelling, and he does it again with “Kill A Prayer,” written by Cole Taylor, Josh Thompson and Jesse Frasure and produced by Frasure.
“You can’t outrun a Mama’s ‘amen’ even when you’re out here running with the devil, I swear …. I’m livin’ proof that you can’t kill a prayer,” he sings.
Swindell will embark on an overseas trip to perform his first-ever shows in Australia and New Zealand in March as he opens select dates for superstar Cody Johnson’s Leather Deluxe Tour.
