While we still have plenty of winter fun ahead of us in Minnesota and Wisconsin, it’s always fun to start thinking about our favorite things to do this summer.
For the Duluth area, one such thing for many is enjoying the free Concert In The Park series, through the City of Duluth Parks and Recreation Department.
Enjoying concerts from a variety of bands is a great way to break up the week and if you or someone you know is in a band, now is the time to apply for your band to play this summer at Duluth’s Chester Park or Lincoln Park.
Band Applications Now Being Accepted For 2025 Music In The Park Concerts
The City of Duluth Parks and Recreation division recently announced it is now accepting applications for the 2025 Music in the Park concert series.
This weekly concert series takes place on Tuesday evenings from June 17 through August 12, 2025, with a rain date built in at the end of the schedule. The first half of the series takes place at Chester Park, with the remainder of the series being staged at Lincoln Park.
All concerts are scheduled from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm and artists may be offered 90-minute performances or a split performance with two 40-minute sets.
There is compensation for bands chosen to play, which is explained in the application process, and all sound and tech needs will be provided by the City.
