Gisele Bündchen is remembering her mother a year after her death. The Brazilian model shared a short but touching tribute on social media, remembering her mother Vania Nonnenmacher by sending her a special message.
Bündchen shared a photo of her mother on Instagram, showing what appears to be a selfie. The photo shows Nonnenmacher on the beach, wearing a hat and some glasses, and smiling brightly for the camera.
“Mom, it’s been a year today since you left us, you are really missed here,” wrote Bündchen in Portuguese.

Nonnenmacher died last year at the age of 75, greatly impacting Bündchen, who has shared various tributes over the past months.
