Shahid Kapoor is actively promoting his upcoming film ‘Deva’. The actor, who has been in the industry for over 20 years now, recently spoke about sharing screen with his father Pankaj Kapur, a well-known and veteran actor. Shahid has also worked with his father in films like ‘Mausam’ and ‘Jersey’. However, the actor shared that he does not want to work with his family in films.
Why Shahid does not want to work with his family?
In an interaction with Bollywood Hungama, Shahid stated, “I don’t work with family, it’s not a good idea. Family and work should be dealt with separately; if they come together, it gets complicated. I would not want to work with them because their feelings would get hurt if I said something. So it’s better to keep it clean.”
In the same interaction, Shahid also spoke about his mother Neelima Azeem and his wife Mira Rajput and how the two of them give him real feedback. “It’s always the women in your life, they let you know how good or bad you are and are pretty straight about it. My wife and mom are two people I listen to a lot, I trust them, if they say something that does not sound nice, I know they are saying it because I need to hear it,” he said.
Mira Rajput enjoys Jab We Met
Shahid also shared that his wife Mira really enjoys ‘Jab We Met’ as she likes the genre. He shared, “Mira likes to watch me in Jab We Met, and every time she watches it, I get scolded for not being even 5 percent like Aditya from the film. So I tell her to be happy that I am not even 5 percent like Kabir Singh.”
On the work front, Shahid will be seen in ‘Deva’ alongside Pooja Hegde.
