LOGAN, Utah- Ahead of the NFL Draft in April, Utah State wide receiver Jalen Royals has one more shot to boost his stock at the Reese’s Senior Bowl.
While the Senior Bowl game isn’t until Saturday, Jalen Royals and the best prospects from around the country are in Mobile, Alabama participating in drills and practices, showing off their skills to NFL scouts.

Jalen Royals made a living leaving Mountain West defensive backs in the dust. Before suffering a season-ending foot injury in October, Royals had already accumulated 55 catches for 834 yards in only seven games. He had a 30+ yard reception in four of his senior year games with six touchdowns, showing his ability to gain yards after the catch and torch opposing secondaries.
#UtahState WR Jalen Royals is one of my favorite for value players in the 2025 Draft:
Very athletic and strong WR, Royals is the best after the catch. Extremely productive, has a good catch radius

Since Jalen missed the second half of the season, recovering just after the Aggies’ last game, he accepted an invite to the Reese’s Senior Bowl to put himself back on the radar of NFL scouts and show teams that he hasn’t lost a step, despite his injury.
In Mobile, Royals is not only lining up against the next generation of professional cornerbacks, but he is also catching passes from this draft class’ best quarterbacks.
Jalen Royals hooked up with Corner Canyon product and Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart after a release off the line of scrimmage that left the defender in a spin cycle, leading to a comeback route.

On another rep, Jalen simply left UCF DB Brandon Adams behind right from the snap, fighting through the defender’s hands and then catching a pass from Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe.

Where Is Jalen Roayals Projected To Go In The NFL Draft?
While Jalen Royals is almost certainly a top-10 wide receiver in this year’s class, many experts have him going in the first or second round. Mel Kiper Jr., NFL Draft Analyst for ESPN, even has Royals as his fifth-best wide receiver.
