Jaspers expands its portfolio with the 2DT, a new series of desktop stands (up to 149 cm inner width) for synthesizers and music gear.
If you want to store synthesizers in the studio while keeping them playable, you can’t go past the Jaspers brand. The German company has been making high-quality keyboard stands for many years. I have used the Jaspers 5D-120B in my studio for five years. They are pricey but rock solid.
So far, the company’s specialty has been stands that can accommodate many heavy synths. For 2025, Jaspers has expanded its portfolio to include desktop stands, the 2DT series, designed for desk use.
Jaspers 2DT
Like the other Jaspers stands, the new 2DT desktop stands are made of powder-coated aluminum and are produced in Germany. They offer adjustable height and inclincable tiers.
Each stand has four holders, two pairs of which are 30 cm long and can hold two synthesizers. Additional holders can be purchased separately.
The new 2DT series is pre-mounted and has a maximum capacity of 15kg per tier. According to Jaspers, it can be set up in 15 minutes.
The new Jasper 2DT version is available in black or silver and in three versions with different dimensions. The height of 70 cm and the total depth of 45 cm is the same for all:
- 2DT-105B: width 115 cm and inner width 105 cm
- 120B: width 130cm and inner width 120 cm
- 150B: width 159cm and inner width 149 cm
First Impression
It’s great to see that Jaspers now offers desktop stands. I can well imagine using them to hold desktop synths and devices. An alternative is the systems from Oblique Design in the UK, which offer even more flexibility in the desktop area.
Jaspers 2DT series is available now and start shipping in three weeks. They range between 198€ and 205€ + shipping.
