John F. Kennedy’s grandson, Jack Schlossberg, amped up the family drama when he trolled the Senate hearing for cousin Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Wednesday.
In a lengthy thread on social media, Schlossberg referred to President Donald Trump’s pick to lead the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services as an “antisemite,” a “lying sack of s**t,” and (checks notes) a “f**king liar.”
He also attacked Kennedy’s claim during the hearing that he is not anti-vaccine despite numerous public statements suggesting otherwise.
Schlossberg’s mother, Caroline Kennedy, recently called RFK Jr. “a predator” in a letter she sent to senators asking them not to confirm him for the HHS job.
Schlossberg, whose father is Jewish, continued to comment on the hearing, calling RFK. Jr. an “antisemite” while sharing a video during the hearing where the HHS hopeful denied saying that COVID-19 was intentionally designed to spare “Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese people.”
After RFK Jr. denied to Colorado Sen. Michael Bennet (D) that he had ever suggested pesticide exposure can make children transgender, Schlossberg referred to his estranged relative as an untruthful pile of dung (though that’s a slight paraphrase).
On his podcast in 2022, RFK Jr. posited that there might be a link between endocrine disruptors, which are often found in pesticides, and “sexual confusion, gender confusion” among children.
Schlossberg got more explicit in his insults, calling his cousin a “fucking liar” after the HHS candidate claimed he is not anti-vaccine or anti-industry.
He also commented on an exchange with Bennet where RFK Jr., admitted he “probably did say” that Lyme disease was a “militarily engineered bioweapon” and also accused his cousin of saying outrageous things just to get people “into your cult.”
Schlossberg also wasn’t impressed by RFK Jr. backtracking on previous statements about abortion.
But Schlossberg got personal when he posted a clip where RFK Jr. mentioned that his wife, “Curb Your Enthusiasm” star Cheryl Hines, was in attendance and referred to her as a “B list actress.”
Schlossberg mocked RFK Jr.’s promise not to take away hamburgers from Americans, by noting, “So then literally what the fuck do we need you for?”
The thread took a weird detour when he posted a video of Nicole Shanahan, RFK Jr.’s running mate during his brief presidential run, and talked about how hot she was, and how senators wouldn’t take her seriously.
Schlossberg then went back to calling out a statement RFK Jr. made during the hearing claiming there was no connection between his anti-vaccine misinformation and a 2019 measles outbreak in Samoa.
Schlossberg then went all caps and accused RFK Jr. of supporting massive tax cuts for the wealthy at the expense of food assistance for the poor.
