What better way to celebrate the peak of spooky season than with John Carpenter?
The master of horror has announced his first-ever music residency at The Belasco in Los Angeles, California.
Marking his first live shows since 2018, Carpenter will perform alongside bandmates Cody Carpenter and Daniel Davies on October 24, October 25, October 31, and November 1.
The band plays Carpenter’s classic film cues from the likes of Halloween, The Thing, Escape from New York, The Fog, They Live, and more along with original music from their Lost Themes albums.
Presale begins today for fans who have pre-registered, with tickets on sale to the general public beginning this Friday, January 31, at 10am PT.
Carpetner has partnered PLUS1 to donate $2 per ticket to the Anti-Recidivism Coalition, supporting incarcerated firefighters, and Best Friends Animal Society, helping animals impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires.
“I’ve been setting my nightmares, dreams and visions to music for a very long time, and there’s a lot to choose from,” says Carpenter. “That means every night of this event will offer something different and unexpected.”
Carpenter recently composed the score for A24’s upcoming dark comedy Death of a Unicorn.
