Episode one saw TV veteran Kate Garraway and culinary queen Prue Leith exposed as Spag Bol and Pegasus respectively, leaving viewers gobsmacked.

Then, 90s sensation Macy Gray and T’Pau’s Carol Decker made shocking exits as Toad in the Hole and Tattoo.

Just eight secret singers remain concealed, with attention turning to their performances this Saturday (January 25). Here’s a rundown of the juicy tidbits and gossip so far.

Bear

Delivering stunning renditions ranging from ‘You’ve Got to Pick a Pocket or Two’ from Oliver! to Will Smith’s hit ‘Miami’, Bear has showcased eclectic vocals across musical theatre and rap, reports the Mirror.

Hints have swirled around the creature’s ties to stage, including West End, football, and comedy – stirring up diverse guesses including Patrick Stewart, Tom Davis, David Harewood, Example, Doc Brown and Richard Blackwood.

Blackwood played coy about the speculation when addressed on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday (January 21), remarking: “That’s how I’d do it if I was to do it.”

The EastEnders sensation hinted that Bear’s “swagger” might be the reason for his suspicion and cheekily suggested that “it’s hot” inside the suit, quickly appending: “So I’ve heard.” Could he be toying with us?

Bush

Dressed Crab towers over host Joel Dommett, who stands at 5ft 11 inches, indicating that this celebrity is quite tall. Fans have subsequently speculated that the character could be former NFL player and Brooklyn 99 star Terry Crews.

“Terry Crews played in the NFL, the crab is absolutely massive and it also sounds exactly like Terry Crews,” one viewer penned on X.

Fans were thrown into a frenzy when, on January 18th, Snail’s performance had a distinct Irish accent, leading to conjectures on social media.

“#Maskedsinger snail definitely sounded Irish!” noted one viewer, sparking speculation of celebrities like Nadine Coyle, Nicola Coughlan and Andrea Corr.

Teeth

Meanwhile, Teeth continues to baffle the audience, with even their gender still up for debate. Noteworthy hints include references to being a “big mouth” and an affinity for “gold”.
