The Love Island All Stars contestants are set for a live performance from two major stars, and one of them has a romantic link with a former Love Island contestant
Two major celebrities are heading to the Love Island villa for a live performance, and one of them has a link to a previous Love Island contestant.
American singer Jason Derulo and Bollywood star Nora Fatehi will be performing their new single Snake, and Jason will also sing a medley of his best known hits for the Islanders. Jason already has a Love Island link, as he previously dated Eve Gale.
Eve previously spoke about their relationship in February last year. She told The Sun: “He wasn’t my ex-boyfriend, but I met him and we went on a date. Obviously he’s in America and I’m in the UK. I’d see him again but nothing too serious. I was in Miami when I met him and then he was in London filming. He’s doing some kind of show so when he’s in London I see him. He hired out a restaurant in Mayfair. We’ll just leave it as we went on a date!”
Jason is known for chart hits including In My Head and Talk Dirty, while Nora is a Canadian dancer and Bollywood actress who is also a singer.
The duo will arrive at the villa shortly after the mass dumping on Tuesday night caused tears amongst the Islanders. The singletons discovered that the public had been voting for their “favourite girl and boy”. Viewers had been aware that those with the fewest votes would be “at risk of being dumped,” but the final decision ended up being in the hands of the two fan favourites.
For their “favourite girl,” fans chose between Catherine Agbaje, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, Elma Pazar, Gabby Allen, Grace Jackson, Harriett Blackmore, Kaz Crossley and Tina Stinnes. The options for their “favourite boy” were Casey O’Gorman, Curtis Pritchard, Luca Bish, Montel McKenzie, Nas Majeed, Ron Hall, Ronnie Vint and Scott Thomas.
Host Maya Jama revealed the outcome of the vote. She announced that Luca and Elma had been chosen as the public’s favourites in the latest vote. Maya also shared with the group that Kaz, Montel, Nas and Tina had received the fewest votes from viewers, meaning that they were all at risk of leaving the reality TV show immediately.
Luca and Elma then had to decide who to save from being dumped, with the other three having to leave the villa. They saved Tina, so Kaz, Montel and Nas made a teary departure.
Three islanders had already been dumped from the villa in previous episodes, with the first to leave having been India Reynolds. She left just days into the series after bombshell Tina chose to ‘steal’ Scott, who was coupled-up with India at the time.
Viewers more recently saw Olivia Hawkins and Marcel Somerville, who had been coupled-up, dumped from the villa. Their departures came after the public voted for the most compatible couple on the reality TV show last week.
Love Island: All Stars continues on Wednesday night from 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
