Maria Shriver is on her cousin Caroline Kennedy’s side when it comes to Robert F Kennedy Jr.
Caroline, the only surviving child of former President John F. Kennedy, put her cousin, the son of Robert Kennedy, on blast ahead of his confirmation hearing to become the Secretary of Health and Human Services for Donald Trump’s second term as President.
In a scathing letter, Caroline called out what she referred to as “troubling behavior” throughout his life, which set the stage for a tense hearing where he was asked if he was lying, and dialed back on his previous pro-choice stance.
Now, Shriver, who is a cousin to both and was previously married to Arnold Schwarzenegger, is sharing that she is on Caroline’s side in the matter, and praised her for her “courage” over the letter.
Shriver took to X (formerly Twitter) to share her thoughts.
“Bobby has gone on to misrepresent, lie and cheat his way through life,” she said, also claiming he “encouraged” his siblings and cousins down paths of substance abuse and saying he abused animals, including putting “baby chickens and mice in a blender to feed to his hawks.”
She also said he was a “hyprocrite” who vaccinated his own children despite peddling anti-vaccine conspiracy theories to the public.
RFK Jr has not addressed or responded to his cousin’s letter.
