Meghan Markle and Prince Harry could be facing an upcoming crisis as one of their deals could soon be dropped, a royal commentator has claimed.
Kinsey Schofield appeared on Sky News Australia to discuss the Duke and Duchess of Sussex following a damning article published in Vanity Fair last week.
In this discussion, Kinsey noted that while many think Meghan and Harry, who quit royal life in 2020, could lose their Netflix deal this year, another deal the couple signed years ago could be coming to an end.
Discussing the couple’s current situation, Schofield told Sky News Australia that the rumoured £20million Penguin Random House deal that was signed in 2021 seems to “have quietly dissipated”.
Schofield alleged: “Is this another Spotify where a huge cooperation in the States is turning their back on the Sussexes?”
It was also alleged that the duchess, 43, displayed “Mean Girl” behaviour towards staff.
While the couple’s office have not commented on the claims, it is believed both Meghan and Harry, 40, found the accusations distressing, as reported by The Times.
An insider has also told The Daily Beast that the article last week came at a difficult time for the couple.
The source said: “Things aren’t easy for them right now. Vanity Fair have succeeded in making a bad time worse.”
