Princess Kate has been given a three-word nickname by royal fans today as she stepped out on two surprise visits in Wales.
The Princess of Wales, 43, delighted fans on Thursday as she stepped out in Wales on a solo outing. The future Queen began the day by meeting six children who are having end-of-life care at Tŷ Hafan Children’s Hospice in Wales.
As well as playing with the children, the princess – who is now patron of the hospice – also spent time talking to parents and carers.
After this visit, Kate then arrived at Corgi in Wales, a textiles manufacturer business which focuses on producing socks and knitwear.
During her visit, the mum-of-three Kate spent time with the design team and heard all about the company’s creative and design process, including how they work in partnership with world-leading brands on collaborative lines. She also met members of the production team on the factory floor.
Since her surprise visits today, royal fans have flocked to social media to show their delight, with many referring to Kate with the three-word nickname “The Children’s Princess”.
Fans of the future Queen have also not held back from praising Kate, who has already carried out a few royal engagements this year as part of her gradual return to work following the end of her cancer treatment in October.
One fan wrote on X on Thursday: “Our favourite princess is back to doing what she normally does: giving children the spotlight.”
Another said: “So very happy to see the Princess of Wales looking so well and back to public duties.”
A third wrote: “So wonderful to Catherine shining the spotlight on children. Doing what she does best, helping others.”
A fourth commented: “Catherine is so loved. So good to see her on engagements again.”
The princess has also conducted a handful of engagements prior to today’s visit this year, with the first being her visit to The Royal Marsden earlier this month to see cancer patients, along with the nurses and doctors who helped Kate with her own cancer treatment.
Kate then stepped out in public again on Monday with Prince William in London to mark Holocaust Memorial Day.
