The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s close relationship with Prince Harry’s cousin, Princess Eugenie, could ultimately result in more family gatherings in the near future, a royal expert has claimed.
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams said the couple’s holiday home in Portugal could mean more public appearances with the Prince Harry and Meghan’s two young children, Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three, and Eugenie’s two sons which would “make a splash”.
Mr Fitzwilliams highlighted the great significance of Harry and Meghan’s recent holiday home purchase in Portugal as Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank also spend time between Portugal’s CostaTerra development and their London base at Ivy Cottage.
He told GB News: “The link with Eugenie is interesting, as she and Harry are quite close. They’ve seen quite a bit of each other, so there are a lot of question marks there.
“If the Sussexes decide to let us see Archie and Lili, we haven’t seen much of them, maybe with Eugenie and Jack and their family and so on, that will make a splash.”
He added the royal couple “know what they’re doing” with the Portugal purchase and we will know “in time” their future developments.
It comes as a scathing article was published about the couple in magazine, Vanity Fair, containing allegations from Harry and Meghan’s previous employees at Archewell.
