Head judge Shirley Ballas said that she had felt a “tiny little node” during a “self-check”.
She said: “Last week and the week before I got some alarming messages about people who said when I picked my arm up they could see lumps or bumps or nodes.
“I did some self-checks, I couldn’t feel anything except a tiny little node at the back. I am going to go to the doctors on Tuesday.
“To those who were concerned enough to message me, I thank you.”
Shirley has had multiple cancer scares in the past.
In 2019, she had a four-hour operation to have her breast implants removed.
After finding out a potentially dangerous capsule had grown, Shirley decided to remover her DD implants and embrace her natural A cup.
In June, Shirley found a lump in her shoulder.
Yesterday, the star admitted that she has had two other cancer scares.
There is a history of cancer in her family. Her mum Audrey was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2019, while her grandmother and aunt have battled the disease.
The former ballroom champion urged women considering breast implants as an option to “do their research” into the potential risks.
She said: “You can’t make somebody love you, no matter what you do to yourself.
“You can get implants, you can get all these procedures, thinking you will be more of a woman for that person.
“But it does not make a difference.
If they don’t love you, they won’t, no matter what you do to your appearance.
“It’s learning to love yourself.”
