“Drops of Jupiter” will fall at Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course in Grantville this summer.
The casino has announced its first act of the 2025 Outdoor Concert Series will be Train, performing on Saturday, Aug. 9.
“Formed in 1993 in San Francisco, Train is led by vocalist Patrick Monahan. They rose to fame with their 2001 album ‘Drops of Jupiter,’ featuring the Grammy-winning title track, which became a defining anthem of the early 2000s,” according to a news release.
“Train continued their success with hits like ‘Calling All Angels’ from ‘My Private Nation’ (2003). With additional hits like ‘Drive By’ and multiple Grammy and Billboard Music Awards, Train has remained a staple in modern music. Their engaging live performances and heartfelt songwriting continue to captivate audiences worldwide.”
Tickets go on sale on Friday, Jan. 31, on Ticketmaster.
