An “upset” Queen Elizabeth II made a sharp comment regarding Meghan Markle<\/a> and Prince Harry’s wedding guest list, according to reports.<\/p>\n

The late monarch reportedly wasn’t happy with the couple’s choice to invite “random” celebrities over members of the royal family<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith shared that the Queen expressed her discontent by remarking, “But it’s my house – and I’m paying for it.” It comes after Meghan’s shocking real role in Harry’s estrangement from his family was exposed.<\/a><\/p>\n

Additionally, she was reportedly “annoyed” when Meghan and Harry bypassed protocol and directly approached the Archbishop of Canterbury about officiating their marriage at St George’s Chapel in May 2018.<\/p>\n

Speaking to American royal commentator Kinsey Schofield, Bedell Smith revealed, “Harry and Meghan just disinvited or didn’t invite a whole group of family and cousins. The children of the Prince and Princess Michael of Kent and of the Gloucesters.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Lady Anson confided to Bedell Smith regarding Meghan following the wedding as she said, “We hope but don’t quite think she is in love.<\/p>\n

“We think she engineered it all.”<\/p>\n

Meghan rose to prominence on the US legal drama Suits, before finding romance with Harry. They quit the royal family in 2020 before moving to start a new life in California<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Bedell Smith shared on her Substack, “By late February 2019 when Lady Anson and I spoke on the phone, she said ‘I don’t trust Meghan an inch.<\/p>\n

“‘To begin with, she was not bad-a straightforward starlet, used to public speaking and charity work. The wedge between the brothers is really too bad.'”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
