But for as little as we know about his role in the <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cinemablend.com\/superheroes\/marvel-cinematic-universe\/avengers-doomsday-what-we-know-marvel-movie\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Avengers: Doomsday release;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \"><u><em>Avengers: Doomsday<\/em><\/u><u> release<\/u><\/a>, we\u2019re not entirely surprised to see him already getting asked about the next <em>Thor<\/em> movie.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Marvel fans currently find themselves in Phase 6, which will be the final batch of movies from the Multiverse Saga. Along with <em>Doomsday<\/em>, we know that this era of MCU movies will include <em>Spider-Man: Brand New Day<\/em>, which begs the question of if another solo Thor adventure on the table. Here\u2019s what Hemsworth recently said when asked by <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@bbcnews\/video\/7535107236058664214\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:BBC News;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \"><u>BBC News<\/u><\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"mb-4 border-l-2 pl-5 italic text-tertiary\">\n<div class=\"\">\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">I don&#8217;t know, we&#8217;ll see where this one goes. We&#8217;re sort of unpacking all that as we speak and figuring out where each of these characters can go. And I&#8217;m just really thankful to be involved in this one at the moment, back together with all the old cast and a lot of new cast. So, it&#8217;s something that I certainly love, so we&#8217;ll see what happens.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">It sounds like Chris Hemsworth is staying really present with the future of Thor (to the public anyway) for the time being, and that makes a lot of sense considering all the secret plotlines he\u2019s surely hiding under those baby blues. I would imagine there\u2019s a lot that will be illuminated to audiences once we see <em>Avengers: Doomsday<\/em> next December. Then there\u2019s its follow-up, <em>Avengers: Secret Wars<\/em>, which could include a lot of developments for Thor and the other Marvel heroes as well.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">So far, we know very little about the future of Thor, except that Chris Hemsworth was confirmed to be in <em>Doomsday<\/em> when <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/entertainment\/marvel-live-blog-avengers-doomsday-153656076.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:the cast was revealed over a five-hour rollout;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\"><u>the cast was revealed over a five-hour rollout<\/u><\/a> of the roster of actors. Hemsworth\u2019s Thor is set to be the only original Avenger to be in the upcoming movie, but Robert Downey Jr. is in the cast as Doctor Doom instead of Iron Man. Other original actors from the MCU&#8217;s Phase 1 that will join him include Tom Hiddleston\u2019s Loki and Sebastian Stan\u2019s Bucky Barnes<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Also in the mix is the Fantastic Four, Thunderbolts, some original X-Men cast members, Anthony Mackie\u2019s Captain America, Letitia Wright&#8217;s Shuri, Winston Duke&#8217;s M&#8217;Baku, Tenoch Huerta Mej\u00eda&#8217;s Namor from <em>Black Panther: Wakanda Forever<\/em>, Paul Rudd\u2019s Ant-Man, and Simu Liu\u2019s Shang-Chi.
