1000-Lb. Sisters<\/em> <\/a>star Tammy Slaton<\/strong><\/a> is dedicated to her weight loss goals, but she still allows herself a treat every now and then.<\/p>\n

Slaton, 39, took to TikTok<\/a> on Tuesday, August 5, to respond to a fan who questioned why she had been holding what appeared to be a bottle of soda in her last video. The TLC personality admitted that she was drinking a bottle of Sprite and explained her reasoning.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverybody is different,\u201d Slaton said. \u201cI\u2019m not supposed to drink the sodies as much, and that was Sprite. Well, sorry.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cIn moderation, you can eat or drink whatever you want. And I drink a lot of water, and I drink a lot of sodies, but I\u2019m still, like, three, four years post-op. \u2026 Everything I\u2019m doing is not fine, but it\u2019s OK because I\u2019m still continuing on my diet. I\u2019m still continuing to lose weight, and I\u2019m still hitting goals. So thank you for your comment.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tSince starring on 1000-Lb. Sisters, Tammy Slaton has tried to make healthier life decisions, including cutting back on her soda intake. \u201cI don\u2019t drink sodies that often anymore,\u201d Slaton, 37, shared with fans in a Wednesday, November 29, TikTok video when asked whether she still drinks up to 12 cans of soda (which she calls [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Fans flooded the comments section with support for Slaton.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet Tammy have a sodie. Look at her she looks amazing and deserves to celebrate her success,\u201d one user commented.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think you\u2019re doing a wonderful job and you look amazing,\u201d another fan added.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey Tammy you look fabulous!!! Keep up the hard work,\u201d a third person wrote.<\/p>\n

Slaton\u2019s weight loss journey began after a medical incident in 2022. She was placed in a medically induced coma and lost 115 pounds in 30 days during her hospital stay. The reality star, who weighed 725 pounds at her heaviest, eventually got down to under 550 pounds in order to qualify for bariatric surgery in July 2022.<\/p>\n

By December 2023, Slaton confirmed that she weighed 285 pounds.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of the big changes that I have gone through this past year is probably small to most people. But to me it was huge,\u201d she told People<\/em>. \u201cJust being able to walk without a walker or be pushed in a wheelchair, and no oxygen. I don\u2019t even sleep with it at night anymore. Then it was being able to fit in a regular vehicle, front seat, and then the belt buckle and not having to use an extender now. So I mean, just what seems minor to people, is giant to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

In April, Tammy revealed that she had lost a total of 500 pounds<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I was at my heaviest, I was 700-plus pounds,\u201d she said during an episode of her and sister Amy Slaton<\/strong>\u2019s TLC series. \u201cRight now, I\u2019m weighing in at 238.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tammy also compared her weight loss journey to Amy\u2019s, as her 37-year-old sister has lost 176 pounds.<\/p>\n
